We have just bid good bye to the Year 2009 and are looking forward to the New Year 2010 with an unwavering resolution to take the Bakhresa Group on the growth path.

The operations in Azam ICD have already kicked-off. We have started receiving and handling import containers in our ICD. I sincerely thank Tanzania Revenue Authority, Tanzania Port Authority, TICTS, The Shipping Lines and Our Valued Customers for their whole-hearted support to the new ICD. I feel proud to inform that Azam ICD is one of the best equipped dry-port with modern container handling equipments, excellent container yard, best IT soft-ware to track the movement of the containers and above all highly experienced staff to manage the operations.

Our Plastic Recycling Facility has also taken-off. As a good corporate citizen, we have started recycling the plastic wastes/refuge.

We are expanding our Uganda Wheat Mill to One Thousand Tons per day and are setting up New Wheat Mills in Burundi and Rwanda. The construction activities have already started.

The expansion of Fruit Processing unit to process 150 Tons of Fruits Per Day is in Progress and is going to be operational latest by March 2010.

We have also launched 100% Natural Coconut Cream in 65ml aseptic tetra-pack and shall shortly launch Tomato Puree in 65ml aseptic tetra-pack.

Successfully introduced fresh Mango, Orange and Apple juices in 1,2 and 5 Liters PET Bottles.

The Ice Cream Division has come-up with Exotic and Innovative Carry Home Family Packs of 250ml, 500 ml and 5 Liters size with Delicious and Mouth Watering Ice Cream Flavors.

There are challenges ahead to meet the targets set by us to satisfy the ever growing demands of our Valued Customers but we hope to be there with the support of our esteemed staff and all the stake-holders.
